Dr. Arunava Narayan Mukherjee, is Dean & Principal of NSHM Business School,NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur , West Bengal approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Government of India and affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal and Guest Faculty for Administrative Training Institute, Government of West Bengal for various courses conducted for members of civil service and officials of various Departments of Government of West Bengal. Besides he is Guest faculty and Resource person for Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute o Technology, Kharagpur, Institute of Business and Computer Studies, Faculty of Management Sciences , Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, State Labour Institute, Government of West Bengal. He is the recipient of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) Fellowship (CG) for his Ph.D. research. He has submitted his Post Doctoral Thesis on Management precisely in the area of HRD to IISWBM. He has obtained specialized training on teaching particularly Management teaching from apex bodies of Government of India and received training in dealing with delinquent adolescent.
Professor Arunava Mukherjee has worked in industry for about eight years, served manufacturing and service sector including chamber of commerce, practiced in Hon’ble High Court Calcutta. He is in Management teaching for last eleven years. He taught Management in undergraduate, postgraduate level, guided M. Phil. Students in Management and served as Professor and head of institute / college under various universities, prominent Business Schools like ISB & M, Kolkata, IMIS, Bhubaneshwar, Globsyn Business School, Kolkata. He was also Visiting Faculty in IBM Jadavpur University, Department of Business Management, Calcutta University for their Master Degree Programme. He is empanelled PhD supervisor for Calcutta University and West Bengal University of Technology. ICFAI University Jharkhand. He presented papers in various national and international seminars, conferences and has considerable number of publications to his credit. He has been awarded the stature of Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) by All India Management Association (AIMA) and Silver Medal and honour for case study presentation by National Human Resource Development Network and XLRI respectively. Paper titled “Branding Indian Business Schools-Creating a Willing Suspension of Disbelief in a Consumerised Society” presented at Strategic Management Forum XVI Annual Convention oraganised by and held At Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode 23-25 May 2013 has been published in a book titled India & Indigenous Strategies (compilation of the selected papers presented at the Convention) bearing ISBN 9789382880363 by Excel India Publishers, New Delhi on behalf of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
